The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Baker counters with a nice uppercut.
Boon throws out a loose jab but Baker uses good head movement to avoid it.
A punch combination from Boon misses.
Baker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boon doesn't seem bothered though.
Baker lands with a good body shot.
Baker displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Boon misses with a hook
and Boon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boon wants to clinch but Baker slips to the side
and Baker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boon misses with a double jab
and Baker counters with a nice body shot.
Boon looks gassed!
Boon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baker counters with a nice uppercut.
A lazy left from Baker finds it's target.

Boon is rocked!
David Baker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boon is still on wobbly legs! Can Baker finish him?
Baker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Boon is able to avoid easily.
Boon seems to have recovered his senses.
Baker lands a nice looking body shot.
Baker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Baker.
Baker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Boon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
