Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mogul Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ore comes to the cage accompanied by The Pack - My Girl Got A Girl Too. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mari Ore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Mogul Khan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ore throws a series of punches but Khan moves out of range.
Ore misses with a series of wild punches.
Mari Ore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan dodges the punch combination from Ore.

Khan gets a takedown into half guard.
Khan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Khan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ore sees it coming and defends easily.
Ore tries to roll over but Khan keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Khan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Khan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ore's head.
Ore pushes Khan off looking to stand but Khan dives back in and keeps control.
Khan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Khan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Khan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ore keeps working.

Khan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ore is just riding it out for now. Khan eventually gives up the hold.
Khan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Khan is taking a breather. Ore says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Khan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Ore wants to improve his position but Khan is controlling well.
Khan is pressing down on Ore's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ore is holding on for now.
Khan prevents Ore from improving his position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Khan passes to side control.

Khan tries for a kimura but Ore is defending well.
Ore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Khan on the ground.

Khan is looking to take a break and control but Ore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Khan controls the position.
Khan advances nicely into full mount.

Khan has hold of Ore's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ore manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ore is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ore is in a horrible position here. Khan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ore defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Khan.
Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ore is looking to escape.

Khan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ore to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ore shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mogul Khan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Khan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ore tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Khan is in Ore's guard.

Khan looking to sit in guard and control but Ore gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ore has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Khan working for a triangle but Ore defends it easily.

Khan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mogul Khan has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ore has managed to get both his arms back between Khan's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Khan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ore's guard.

Khan is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Khan is staying tight to Ore's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Ore is not content to let Khan control the position.

Khan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ore, who protects the arm well.

Khan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Khan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ore has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ore is trying to improve his position.
Khan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Khan has hold of Ore's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ore tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Khan cranks the arm and Ore screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ore, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mogul Khan!
