Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cabbage Patched (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mercer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Patched doesn't seem bothered though.
Mercer misses with a right hand
enabling Patched to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Ray Mercer has been cut.
Patched feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mercer's calf.
Patched sizes up Mercer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mercer looks to land a right hand but Patched moved out of range.
Mercer lands with an uppercut that bounces Patched off the cage and back into rage.

Mercer tries to keep at a distance but Patched has taken the fight into the clinch.
Patched gets through Mercer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Patched lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Patched has Mercer pressed against the cage.
Patched throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mercers head.

Patched turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Patched has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
