And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiho tries to clinch
and Sallon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sallon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laiho moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sallon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Laiho holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Laiho lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sallon backwards.
Laiho lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sallon backwards.
Laiho lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Laiho crunches a lovely knee into Sallon's ribcage.
Sallon is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knees to the body from Laiho.
Laiho lands an elbow inside that Sallon shrugs off.
Laiho connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sallon's face.
Sallon is rocked!
Laiho scores with a knee to the head.
Oh Sallon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Laiho has Sallon pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Sallon is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Laiho - that's hurt Sallon badly! Oh, another knee lands and Sallon is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Sallon doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Alexi Laiho!
