PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jone Nikula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qually Fiterwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Qually Fiterwon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikula paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nikula throws an overhand right that lands on Fiterwon's shoulder, as Fiterwon tries to avoid the shot.

Fiterwon shoots in and gets a takedown into Nikula's guard.
Fiterwon wants to pass the guard but Nikula is keeping the position.
Fiterwon trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Nikula manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Fiterwon has a closed guard, preventing Nikula from standing up.
Fiterwon pulls Nikula in close to his closed guard and prevents Nikula from doing any damage or advancing position.

Fiterwon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nikula wanted to stand there but Fiterwon had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fiterwon holds on and takes a little breather.
Fiterwon has a closed guard, preventing Nikula from standing up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fiterwon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Fiterwon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nikula!
