The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vulcan fails with the takedown
and Vulcan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vulcan shoots and misses
and Spirit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Marcus Vulcan has been cut.
Vulcan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Spirit counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Vulcan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spirit drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Spirit working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Spirit is putting a hurting on Vulcan here, landing some big shots from side control.
Vulcan tries to bench press Spirit off him but Spirit keeps the position.

Vulcan is breathing heavily.
The crowd goes nuts as Spirit knocks Vulcan out cold with a massive hammerfist! Spirit Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
