The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rua enables Hyde to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rua manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hyde throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rua works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hyde is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hyde has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rua to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hyde is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rua pulls down on the head and he's put Hyde to sleep! This one is all over!
