Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darko El Kharraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maddy Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bunga's choice of entrance music: Andina. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maddy Bunga!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga throws a lazy head kick
and El Kharraz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
El Kharraz scores with a push kick.
El Kharraz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bunga.
El Kharraz slips a jab and a cross from Bunga.

El Kharraz has closed the distance and engaged Bunga in a clinch.
Bunga misses with some punches.
Bunga comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Darko El Kharraz has been cut.
Bunga tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bunga tries to circle away but El Kharraz has him pinned against the cage.

Bunga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
El Kharraz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bunga's waist but Bunga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing El Kharraz off to one side.
Bunga tries a head kick but it misses.
El Kharraz cracks the inside of Bunga's front leg.
El Kharraz shoots in and drives through. Bunga sprawls well.
El Kharraz wants to clinch but Bunga slips to the side
and Bunga counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. El Kharraz is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Bunga counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darko El Kharraz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bunga just misses with a elbow thrown towards El Kharraz's brow.
Bunga wants to get back to striking at distance but El Kharraz won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bunga throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as El Kharraz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

El Kharraz looking for a triangle here. Bunga is fighting it but it looks tight! El Kharraz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bunga is tapping out - this one is all over!
