Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Maria. Adam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Grateful Deads- Truckin' kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kong Le could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rob Adam's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kong Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Adam!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Adam as he checks the leg kick.
Adam paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Le avoids a punch combination nicely.

Le throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Adam looks gassed!

Adam has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Le.

Le does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Le throws a leg kick which misses Adam's front leg but catches the back leg as Adam tries to avoid it.

Le throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Le tries to land a leg kick but Adam saw it coming and moves away.
Le feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Adam's calf.

Le throws a jab when Adam was well out of range.

and Adam holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Adam is working for a kimura but Le is defending it quite comfortably.
Adam uses his free foot to push down on Le's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Le.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Le has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Kong Le has been cut.
Adam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Le fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Adam.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
