The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pierre peirre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knife's waist but Knife gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing pierre peirre off to one side.
Knife doesn't succeed with the takedown
and pierre peirre counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knife sneaks back into half guard.
Knife gets full guard.
pierre peirre wants to stand but Knife has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
pierre peirre is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Knife has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. pierre peirre is looking to defend but Knife has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for pierre peirre! Knife pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, pierre peirre taps out and this one is all over!
