Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Kicking Pokemon Hitmonlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor comes to the cage accompanied by Bounce Wimme Now. Hitmonlee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Hitmonlee Entrance Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitmonlee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Trevor throws a lazy head kick

and Hitmonlee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Trevor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hitmonlee walks away with a smile on his face. Trevor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hitmonlee just misses with a punch to the body.
Trevor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hitmonlee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Trevor fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hitmonlee checks it well.
Trevor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hitmonlee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trevor somewhat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hitmonlee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hitmonlee wants it to stay on the feet.

Trevor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hitmonlee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Trevor, into his guard.

Hitmonlee stands and steps away. Trevor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Trevor has Hitmonlee up against the cage in a clinch.
Trevor tries to pull guard but Hitmonlee holds him up against the cage and eventually Trevor drops back down to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hitmonlee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Trevor is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Hitmonlee is pulling down on Trevor's head. It's preventing any offense from Trevor, at least for the moment.

Trevor seems to be looking for submissions.
Hitmonlee is staying active underneath Trevor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Trevor is working for a kimura but Hitmonlee is defending it quite comfortably.

Trevor tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hitmonlee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to The Kicking Pokemon Hitmonlee.
