Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gatho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum throws a leg kick
and Gatho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Baum scoring well with a low kick there.
A slapping body kick lands there for Baum.
A head kick misses from Baum.
Gatho on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Baum. Baum obviously looking to wear him down.
A low kick from Baum misses
and Gatho counters with a nice uppercut.
Baum pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Baum connects with a solid leg kick.
Baum tries to work over Gatho's front leg with a kick but Gatho checks it.
Baum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gatho blocks a head kick by Baum.

and Gatho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Baum fakes the leg kick and cracks Gatho in the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baum fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gatho has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gatho takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Baum keeps the fight on the outside.
Baum bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gatho misses with a straight left.
Gatho works over Baum's head and body with a nice combination.
Baum misses with a low kick.
Baum goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Baum throws a head kick that misses.
Baum misses with a leg kick
and Gatho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Baum throws a head kick that misses.
Gatho pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Gatho counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Baum buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Baum tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gatho is able to avoid easily.
Baum misses with a leg kick
and Gatho makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gatho misses with a body shot.
Adam Baum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Baum.
Baum throws a leg kick but Gatho moved away.
Gatho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baum moves away.
Gatho misses with a straight right.
Gatho smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gatho throws an overhand right that lands on Baum's shoulder, as Baum tries to avoid the shot.
Baum takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gatho checks a low kick from Baum.
A lazy body kick from Baum
and Gatho counters with a nice uppercut.
Baum is rocked!
Baum is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Gatho doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Baum crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Baum's bad books for that mishap!
