Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vince Mimsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mia Magoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mimsy comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. Vince Mimsy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Magoo blocks the low kick.

Mimsy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Magoo's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mimsy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Magoo momentarily.

Mimsy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Magoo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mimsy scrambles back to his feet.

Mimsy takes the fight into the clinch.
Magoo creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Magoo gets underhooks to prevent Mimsy's takedown attempt.
Magoo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mimsy pushes Magoo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Mimsy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Magoo sees it coming and defends easily.

Mimsy goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Magoo turns into him and now he's in Mimsy's guard.

Mimsy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Magoo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Magoo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Mia Magoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Magoo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mimsy's knee momentarily.

Mimsy moves forwards but Magoo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Magoo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Mimsy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Mimsy looking to sit in guard and control but Magoo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mimsy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mimsy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Magoo escapes and throws Mimsy's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Magoo is looking to take a break and control but Mimsy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mimsy is trying to control Magoo's posture but Magoo avoids it.
Mimsy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Magoo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Mimsy is looking to reverse the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mimsy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Magoo is thwarting Mimsy's attempts to control the position.
Mimsy is looking for a sweep. Magoo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mia Magoo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
