Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Geasus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes to the cage accompanied by Chiddy Bang - Opposite Of Adults. Bravo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Terminator 2. Geasus Maximus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Maximus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bravo tries to hold on but Maximus postures up.
Bravo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bravo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bravo manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Bravo keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Maximus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bravo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Maximus to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bravo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Maximus!
Maximus has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Bravo working for the choke.

Maximus is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bravo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Maximus knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Maximus for a finish.

Bravo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Maximus has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Bravo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Maximus defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Bravo is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Maximus has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Bravo is looking for a choke. Maximus gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Maximus manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Maximus wants to stand but Bravo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bravo wants to sweep but no luck.
Bravo pulls Maximus in close to prevent any damage.
Maximus trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bravo's guard.
Bravo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bravo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Maximus is now in Bravo's guard. A big mistake from Bravo there, giving up the dominant position!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Bravo dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Maximus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maximus showed some decent athleticism there.
Maximus wants to get back to his feet.
Maximus decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Maximus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bravo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bravo.
Bravo has control of Maximus's left arm, preventing Maximus from doing any damage.
Bravo wants to sweep but no luck.
Maximus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Maximus trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bravo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bravo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Maximus has passed into side control.
Bravo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bravo passes to full mount!
Bravo goes for an armbar but Maximus turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Maximus.
Bravo wants to control but Maximus passes easily into half guard.

Bravo wants to get back to full guard.
It looks like Maximus is going to stand back up.
Bravo gets full guard.
Maximus wanted to stand there but Bravo had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Maximus is looking to escape.

Bravo works his way into side control.
Bravo tries for a kimura but Maximus is defending well.
Bravo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Maximus has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bravo is breathing heavily.
Maximus tries to escape but Bravo is in control.
Bravo has hold of Maximus's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Maximus tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bravo cranks the arm and Maximus screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Maximus, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Eddie Bravo!
