Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ash Ketchum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Erik Lehnsherr!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lehnsherr tries to clinch but Ketchum moves away

and Ketchum counters with a shoot takedown. Lehnsherr fights it but they end up in guard.
Ketchum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lehnsherr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ketchum is working Lehnsherr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ketchum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ketchum wants to pass the guard but Lehnsherr is keeping the position.
Ketchum content to stall in guard here.
Lehnsherr is pulling down on Ketchum's head to control his posture.
Lehnsherr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ketchum passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ketchum creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lehnsherr sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ketchum lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
A lull in the action here as Ketchum stalls from top position.

Ketchum tries for a kimura but Lehnsherr is defending well.
Lehnsherr takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ketchum is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lehnsherr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ketchum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lehnsherr can't do much from the bottom here.
An elbow from Ketchum crashes against the mat.
Ketchum misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ketchum trying to control the position but Lehnsherr is working away.
Lehnsherr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ketchum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lehnsherr is looking for a sweep.
Ketchum sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lehnsherr is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ketchum looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lehnsherr is avoiding damage well.
Lehnsherr is not content to let Ketchum control the position.
Lehnsherr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ketchum wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lehnsherr is trying to escape the position but Ketchum is controlling the position.
Ketchum looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lehnsherr is avoiding damage well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ketchum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lehnsherr keeps working.

Ketchum looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ketchum throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Ketchum is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lehnsherr looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ketchum gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lehnsherr is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ketchum lets go of the hold and Lehnsherr can pop his arm back in it's socket.
