Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mamath Blah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilnur Ilias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ilias has chosen Clubbed To Death - Rob Dougan as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ilnur Ilias enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Ilias.
Blah throws a lazy right hand but Ilias sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blah really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ilias wants to clinch up but Blah keeps it at a distance.

and Blah counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ilias is trying desperately to land a takedown but Blah is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ilias.

and Blah counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Blah lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Blah slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blah lands with a shot to the body.

Ilias moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ilias takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Blah misses with a left hand
and Ilias counters with a series of strikes. Blah will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ilias fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blah, pushing him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Blah's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Ilias jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Blah has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ilias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blah gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ilias had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blah defends it easily.

Ilias has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Blah doesn't defend quickly enough and Ilias has managed to lock this one up! Can Blah escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ilias on a fantastic submission victory.
