The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smashed Face avoids the head kick by Hall.

Hall throws a head kick that misses.

Smashed Face scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Smashed Face looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hall is avoiding damage well.

Hall wants to sweep but no luck.
Smashed Face stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smashed Face postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Smashed Face throws and elbow that misses. Hall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smashed Face's guard. Nice move by Hall!
Smashed Face looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hall is one step ahead there.
Hall wants to control from the top but Smashed Face keeps moving.

Smashed Face can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hall prevents Smashed Face from improving his position.
Smashed Face wants to control but Hall is keeping busy.
Still in half guard, Hall seems content to control.
Smashed Face on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smashed Face tries to get out of the position.
Smashed Face misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Hall seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Hall stands up and beckons Smashed Face to join him on the feet.

Hall throws a head kick that Smashed Face semi-blocks.

It looks like Brian Smashed Face has been cut.
Andrew Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
