Niemi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Parker & Clind - Generator. Snoozer has chosen Prodigy - Spitfire as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niemi thows a body shot but no joy.
Niemi misses with a kick to the body.
Niemi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snoozer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Niemi scrambles back to his feet.
Snoozer misses with a shot to the body
and Niemi counters with an outside leg kick.
Niemi throws a lazy head kick
and Snoozer counters with a nice body shot.
Jetset Niemi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niemi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Snoozer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice uppercut there from Niemi.

It looks like Sam Snoozer has been cut.
Snoozer thows a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Snoozer misses its intended target.
Niemi throws a low kick but Snoozer avoids it.
Niemi misses with an attempted mid kick.

Niemi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Niemi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Niemi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Niemi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Snoozer bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Niemi and the fight is over!
