The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trester tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tait swivels and escapes.
Trester throws a right and a left that Tait avoids nicely.
Trester misses with a low kick as Tait jumps back.

Tait shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Trester is trying to defend but Tait finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tait misses with a takedown attempt - Trester sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

George Tait seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tait shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tait showed some decent athleticism there.

Well Tait has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
