Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Ceh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Tyler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tomas Ceh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler closes the distance and pushes Ceh back into the cage.
Ceh tries for a takedown but Tyler manages to get underhooks.

Tyler pulls guard.

Tyler is looking for a triangle but Ceh pushes his legs off easily.

Ceh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ceh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tyler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ceh is pushing down on Tyler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyler is fighting to maintain full guard but Ceh has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ceh is trying to work for a kimura but Tyler is defending well.
Tyler manages to get to full guard.
Tyler can't keep his opponent in guard - Ceh advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Ceh is working for a submission of some sort.

Ceh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tyler has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ceh moves into full mount! Tyler won't be happy about that!
Tyler tries to hold on but Ceh pushes him away.

Ceh looking for a guillotine from mount but Tyler is having none of it.

Ceh working for a submission but Tyler is keeping him at bay.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ceh is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tyler can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ceh wants to finish this one by submission but Tyler is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ceh.

Ceh with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tyler tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ceh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tyler manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ceh tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tyler is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ceh is working to tighten is grip on Tyler's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tyler has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ceh is really squeezing tight and eventually Tyler passes out! Ceh breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
