Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiro Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jockson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jockson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Can't Be Touched. Yoshiro Gomi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi has his takedown stuffed
and Jockson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gomi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jockson counters with a stiff right hand.
Gomi misses with a takedown
and Jockson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshiro Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gomi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomi is looking to take a break and control but Jockson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

Gomi is trying to get an arm triangle but Jockson is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gomi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jockson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gomi has hold of Jockson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jockson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gomi cranks the arm and Jockson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jockson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
