Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Alexio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buggy The Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Clown has chosen Love and Drinking as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Clown throws a leg kick
and Alexio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Buggy The Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Clown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Alexio lands but The Clown takes it in his stride.
The Clown misses with a shot to the body
and Alexio counters with a left to the body.
Alexio feints and then cracks The Clown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Clown down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Clown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Alexio counters with a body kick that stops The Clown in his tracks momentarily.

and Alexio counters with a good low kick that The Clown was not able to check.
Alexio scores with a hook to the body. The Clown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The Clown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Alexio pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The Clown takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Alexio lets loose with a powerful body kick. The Clown will feel that in the morning.

Alexio connects with a leg kick. The Clown looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alexio is on the wrong end of a nice combination from The Clown.

The Clown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alexio can pounce on him.
Alexio is looking to wear down The Clown with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alexio keeps The Clown at a distance using the push kick.
Alexio throws a solid leg kick but The Clown takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Alexio.

and Alexio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The Clown lands a right hook to the body.
Alexio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Alexio counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Alexio slips a straight right by The Clown.
The Clown scores with a leg kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but The Clown might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Alexio has got the better of the exchanges.

The Clown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Alexio can't find room to land a body shot as The Clown controls the action.

A short body shot lands from The Clown as the two fighters clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alexio.

The Clown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The Clown throws an overhand right that lands on Alexio's shoulder, as Alexio tries to avoid the shot.

The fight stays on the outside here - The Clown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alexio scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Alexio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The Clown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alexio has time to react.
The Clown has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Alexio.

The Clown misses with a series of wild punches.
Alexio throws a half hearted mid kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Alexio.

The Clown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Alexio's head.

Alexio lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

The Clown on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Alexio throws a sloppy head kick and The Clown moves out of range easily.
The Clown tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Alexio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alexio is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Clown can do to turn this around?

The Clown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alexio can pounce on him.
Alexio connects with a body shot that sends The Clown's belly button to the back.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Alexio lands a head kick. The Clown smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Alexio throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into The Clown's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Alexio lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
