The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Supporter misses with a low kick.

Mondero looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Mondero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mondero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mondero looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Supporter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Supporter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mondero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mondero seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mondero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Supporter's guard.
