Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden has chosen From Hell by Faces Of Mars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Fadden is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardt blocks the body kick.
Hardt slips a jab and a cross from Fadden.
Fadden tries for a takedown but Hardt circles away easily
and Hardt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Jack Fadden has been cut.

Fadden clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Hardt is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fadden can't fight it off and eventually Hardt manages to take the fight to the floor. Fadden looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hardt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hardt wants to stand but Fadden is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hardt thows a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fadden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Hardt gets to his feet - Fadden follows without any prompting.
Hardt fails with the takedown

and Fadden counters with a shoot takedown. Hardt fights it but they end up in guard.
Hardt keeping moving, preventing Fadden from controlling successfully.
Hardt can't keep his opponent in guard - Fadden advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hardt wants to control but Fadden is keeping busy.
Fadden content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Hardt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fadden pulls his head out easily.
Fadden is looking to advance position but Hardt won't allow it.

Hardt gets full guard.
Fadden passes Hardt's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fadden is keen to just control but Hardt is a slippery customer.
Hardt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hardt is refusing to be controlled, as Fadden sits in half guard.
Hardt is pressing down on Fadden's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hardt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fadden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hardt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fadden sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hardt's guard.
Fadden wants to stand up but Hardt is controlling the position.
Fadden looks gassed!

Hardt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fadden pulls his head out easily.
Hardt tries to roll over but Fadden keeps him under control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hardt slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fadden must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hardt has his foot on Fadden's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fadden works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fadden tries to clinch but Hardt is having none of it.
Hardt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hardt.

and Fadden counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fadden manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Hardt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hardt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fadden is just riding it out for now. Hardt eventually gives up the hold.
