Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Foti Vasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashley Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Vasa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vasa darts in trying to clinch
and Morrison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morrison throws an ugly left hook that misses

so Vasa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Vasa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morrison has his foot on Vasa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vasa works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vasa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morrison was covering up waiting for the punch and Vasa finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Vasa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Morrison scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Vasa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Vasa stands and salutes the crowd.
