The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNasty shoots in for a takedown but Watts shows good takedown defense.
McNasty throws a right hand that Watts ducks under and follows up with a left that Watts also avoids with ease.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Watts is thwarting McNasty's attempts to control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

McNasty is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McNasty changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watts tries to avoid it but McNasty manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watts to the ground. Watts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Watts counters with a body kick that stops McNasty in his tracks momentarily.

Watts had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McNasty is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Watts Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McNasty's back instead.
McNasty looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
