Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakatsu Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueda throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ueda sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ueda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.
Ueda is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ueda winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Ueda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
