Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Melindlez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ca Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li lands a nice looking body kick.
Melindlez misses with a low kick as Li jumps back.
Li keeps Melindlez at a distance using the push kick.

Melindlez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Melindlez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Li tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Melindlez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Li is letting Melindlez control him for a moment.

Melindlez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Li to his feet.
Li pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Li throws a head kick that misses.

Melindlez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Li did well to prevent Melindlez getting side control.
Melindlez tries to pass to full mount but Li defends it.
