Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contreras looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Glover with a lazy takedown attempt
and Contreras counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Glover has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Contreras can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Glover is controlling Contreras's posture.
Glover manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Contreras manages to get himself to full guard.
Glover is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Contreras is trying to control the position but Glover postures up.
Glover drops back looking for a leg! Contreras is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Contreras manages to kick Glover off! Glover jumps back into Contreras's guard.
Glover controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Glover trying to control but Contreras is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Contreras wants to hit a switch here but Glover passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Contreras there!
Contreras knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glover on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Contreras tries to control Glover's body but Glover pushes him off. Contreras squirms to his side and now Glover has his back!
Contreras tries to break free.
Glover is persistently looking for the submission but Contreras is defending it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glover is punishing Contreras with strikes - can he finish him?!
Glover is not going to allow Contreras to sit and survive in this position.
Glover tightening his grip on Contreras, looking for the choke.
