Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Milani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rashad Evans!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milani stuffs the takedown attempt from Evans. Evans gets slowly back to his feet.
Evans throws a sloppy head kick
and Milani counters with a nice uppercut.
Milani tries to clinch up.
Evans tries to clinch but Milani moves out of range.
No luck for Evans with that takedown attempt.
Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Milani sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mauricio Milani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Evans.

Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Milani was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Milani is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Evans stands up from Milani's guard - Evans perhaps looking for a knockout.

Milani has a takedown stuffed.
Evans needs to keep his hands up - Milani had a free shot at his head there.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Milani swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Milani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice sprawl there from Milani as Evans shoots in.
Milani thuds a left hand into Evans's body.
Evans wants to clinch up but Milani keeps it at a distance.
Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Milani, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Milani against the cage but Milani circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Crunch! Milani slams his shin into Evans's torso.
Rashad Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans looks gassed!
Milani falls off balance throwing a combination

and Evans moves into the clinch.
Milani comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Rashad Evans has been cut.
A shot in the inside from Milani.
Evans trying to control the position but instead, Milani has worked for underhooks and has pushed Evans into the cage.
Evans tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Milani smiles and moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Milani.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Evans is defended easily by Milani.
Evans tries to clinch up but Milani circles away and keeps his distance.

Evans with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Milani to score with a decent uppercut.

Milani takes the fight into the clinch.
Milani gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Evans throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Milani blocks it with crossed arms.

Evans jumps into guard, dragging Milani to the mat.
Evans keeping moving, preventing Milani from controlling successfully.

Milani thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Evans is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Milani is aware though and is defending well.

Milani drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Milani seems to have locked his on tight now - Evans screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Milani, as he picks up the win!
