Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, North Dakota Wrecking Machine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rulon Oboev!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oboev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wrecking Machine counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Rulon Oboev has been cut.

Wrecking Machine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Oboev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wrecking Machine.

Wrecking Machine has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oboev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wrecking Machine walks away with a smile on his face. Oboev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Wrecking Machine counters with a single leg into guard. Oboev didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

North Dakota Wrecking Machine has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Oboev tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Wrecking Machine counters with a single leg into guard. Oboev didn't expect that.

Wrecking Machine seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oboev for as long as he can get away with.

Wrecking Machine drops back looking for a leg! Oboev is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oboev manages to kick Wrecking Machine off! Wrecking Machine jumps back into Oboev's guard.

Wrecking Machine throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oboev tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wrecking Machine is in Oboev's guard.
Oboev preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wrecking Machine not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Wrecking Machine keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oboev's head.

Wrecking Machine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wrecking Machine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oboev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
