The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shkutov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shkutov wants to stand up but Stone is controlling the position.

Stone is looking for a sweep. Shkutov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Shkutov is nestled in close to Stone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Stone looking for subs from the bottom but Shkutov mounts him!
Shkutov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stone is looking to escape.
Stone tries to lock up and control but Shkutov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stone is trying desperately to improve position.
BOOM! Shkutov connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Shkutov gets his hands free as Stone looks to control.

Shkutov wants to control but Stone is keeping busy.

Shkutov is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stone has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stone wants to get back to his feet.

Shkutov working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Stone is doing well to defend. Shkutov seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Stone is forced to tap and this one is over!
