Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kudryavtsev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wall darts in trying to clinch
and Kudryavtsev counters with a shoot takedown. Wall fights it but they end up in guard.
Kudryavtsev throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kudryavtsev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wall wants to stand but Kudryavtsev is controlling the position.

Wall kicks Kudryavtsev off and gets to his feet.

Wall fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kudryavtsev is out of range.

Wall wants to clinch up but Kudryavtsev keeps it at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kudryavtsev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wall tries to avoid it but Kudryavtsev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wall to the ground. Wall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnny Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev.
Wall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kudryavtsev sprawls well. Kudryavtsev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wall gets slowly back to his feet.

and Kudryavtsev counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wall could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wall is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

A knee to the head by Kudryavtsev.
Kudryavtsev misses with a knee strike.
Wall blocks an uppercut.
Kudryavtsev blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kudryavtsev working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kudryavtsev creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wall tries to pull guard but Kudryavtsev won't allow it.
Kudryavtsev is pressed up against the cage. Wall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kudryavtsev down to the mat. Kudryavtsev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Johnny Wall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kudryavtsev fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wall wants to stay close but Kudryavtsev steps back to make room for something. Wall seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Kudryavtsev and Wall drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev!
