Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalifa Khalifa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalifa doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Marshall counters with a stiff right hand.
Khalifa tries for a takedown but Marshall circles away easily
and Marshall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Khalifa fails with the takedown
and Marshall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khalifa Khalifa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khalifa misses with a takedown attempt
and Marshall counters with an outside leg kick.

Marshall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Khalifa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Khalifa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marshall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Khalifa thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Marshall to regain full guard.

Khalifa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marshall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khalifa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Khalifa slips nicely into half guard.
Khalifa tries to pass to full mount but Marshall defends it.
Khalifa frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Khalifa misses with a head shot.

Marshall wants to control but Khalifa is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khalifa lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Marshall hang on?
Marshall avoids a series of strikes thrown by Khalifa.

Khalifa loads up with a big shot that hurts Marshall! He's pulled Khalifa in close but Khalifa has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Marshall survive? More strikes from Khalifa and Marshall is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
