Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Alb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pera Vihtahousu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vihtahousu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Konevitsan Kirkonkellot. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vihtahousu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vihtahousu lands in his opponent's guard.

Vihtahousu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vihtahousu, into his guard.

Alb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vihtahousu on the ground.

Vihtahousu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vihtahousu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alb is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vihtahousu.
