Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Sham!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bate waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sham.
Nice shot by Bate.
Sham tries to clinch there but Bate circles away.
Bate throws a series of punches but Sham avoids them all with ease.
Bate uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sham has time to react.
Bate digs a good hook to Sham's body.
Bate scores with a decent looking hook.
Sham blocks a low kick nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bate.
Bate misses with a wild body shot.
Sham on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bate swings for the body but Sham moves out of range.
Bate works the jab nicely.
Bate feints and then cracks Sham's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sham down.
Bate misses with an uppercut. Sham saw that one coming.

Bate takes a swing at Sham's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bate darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sham takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bate misses with a low kick.

Bate shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sham is trying to control Bate's posture but Bate avoids it.
Sham is trying to get back to half guard.

Sham parries the strikes from Bate easily there. Bate is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sham to escape.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bate is putting a hurting on Sham here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sham takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Bate working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sham parries the strikes from Bate easily there. Bate is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sham to escape.

Bate postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Sham is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sham is squirming around, avoiding Bate's attempts to control the action.
Bate lands with some strikes.
Bate has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sham's face.


Sham is rocked!
The referee warns Sham that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sham is still in real trouble! Can Bate finish him?
Bate drops a big elbow. That's hurt Sham! More shots from Bate and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
