Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Wilkon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andre Wilkon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quinn scores with a takedown into Wilkon's guard.
Quinn prevents Wilkon from getting back to his feet.

Quinn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Quinn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wilkon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Quinn defends it easily.
Quinn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Quinn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wilkon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quinn has Wilkon in his guard.

Quinn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Wilkon passes into side control.
Wilkon is looking to take a break and control but Quinn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Quinn regains half guard there - taking advantage of Wilkon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Quinn wants to improve his position but Wilkon is controlling well.

Quinn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wilkon pulls his head out easily.
Wilkon is keen to just control but Quinn is a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wilkon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Quinn is refusing to be controlled, as Wilkon sits in half guard.
Quinn controlling the position well.
Wilkon wants to control but Quinn is keeping him busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Andre Wilkon wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Wilkon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wilkon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quinn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quinn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilkon is controlling him.

Wilkon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quinn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wilkon gets to his feet. Quinn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wilkon feints and as Quinn raises his hands in defense, Wilkon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quinn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Quinn throws a strike but Wilkon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilkon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Quinn will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Wilkon is in close to Quinn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Quinn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wilkon wants to control from the top but Quinn keeps moving.
Quinn can't keep his opponent in guard - Wilkon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wilkon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Quinn defending well though.
Wilkon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quinn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Quinn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wilkon scores with a couple of nice shots.
Quinn wants to get back to full guard.

Wilkon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
