Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Hristov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by Kronik. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hristov circles away.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Hristov moves out of range easily.
Hristov tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Adams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hristov!

Hristov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Adams breaks from Hristov's wrist control and lands an elbow.

It looks like Valentin Hristov has been cut.
Hristov is looking to improve his position but Adams isn't that keen on the idea.
Adams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
