Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Helber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Helber might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War is coming. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Helber.
Helber scores with a body shot.
Helber comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Helber throws a right and a left that both miss.

Silva tries to keep at a distance but Helber has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nice body punch from Helber - that landed with a thud.
Helber tries a knee to the head but Silva blocks it.

Helber breaks the clinch.
That kick from Helber tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.

Helber closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Silva quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is looking for a sweep. Helber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Helber connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.
