The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage misses with a takedown attempt
and Nakamura counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rage with a flurry of punches that miss.

Rage drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nakamura dives on top into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rage is on top in guard.

Nakamura flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Rage in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nakamura tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Rage!
