PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nao Sakumichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the ring accompanied by Gangsta Gangsta. Nao Sakumichi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nao Sakumichi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker ducks under a wild hook from Sakumichi.
Jason Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker slaps away a takedown attempt from Sakumichi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sakumichi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Sakumichi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sakumichi.
Sakumichi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Jason Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nao Sakumichi.

Parker takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sakumichi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Parker some visible discomfort.
