Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Manoel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Manoel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hino do Flamengo. Antonio Manoel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rua is defended easily by Manoel.
Rua fails with a takedown attempt.
Rua will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Antonio Manoel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Rua.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manoel steps in with a hook that catches Rua right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Manoel follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rua looks absolutely devastated.
