Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Prime!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blasko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Prime blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Blasko scores with a nice short uppercut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Prime just misses with a elbow thrown towards Blasko's brow.
Prime misses with a hook from the clinch.

Blasko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Prime lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Blasko creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Prime is looking to control Blasko's arms but Blasko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Prime has his back to the cage.

Blasko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Prime throws a head kick but Blasko moves out of range.
Blasko dodges the punch combination from Prime.

Prime tests Blasko's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Blasko wants to clinch up but Prime keeps it at a distance.

and Prime counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Julius Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blasko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Blasko counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Prime might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Blasko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Blasko working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Blasko prevents Prime from improving his position.
Blasko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Prime does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Blasko is thwarting Prime's attempts to control the position.
Blasko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prime can do anything to dispel that myth.
Blasko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Prime with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prime is doing well to control the position and prevent Blasko from advancing to side control.

Blasko tries to close the distance and clinch but Prime swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Blasko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Prime.

Blasko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Prime.

Blasko doesn't manage to clinch there - Prime circles away.

Prime gets caught napping as Blasko dives in and scores a takedown. Prime manages to retain guard.
