Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Shellac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuin has chosen Remo WIlliams Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Master Chuin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Chuin blocks the low kick.
A head kick by Chuin misses
and Shellac counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shellac tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shellac tries a head kick but it misses.
Chuin throws a lazy head kick
and Shellac counters with a head kick that drops Chuin!
Chuin is looking for a triangle but Shellac pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chuin has his foot on Shellac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shellac works his way back into a safe position though.
Chuin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shellac is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chuin.
Chuin is trying to control Shellac's posture but Shellac avoids it.
Chuin tries to bench press Shellac off him but Shellac keeps the position.
Chuin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shellac's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Chuin tries to get to full guard but Shellac has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chuin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chuin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Shellac takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chuin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shellac's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shellac's back!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Shellac defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.

Shellac has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Chuin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Shellac is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Chuin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shellac is aware though and is defending well.
Chuin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chuin has his foot on Shellac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shellac works his way back into a safe position though.

Chuin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chuin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shellac gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chuin is trying to control the position but Shellac postures up.

Chuin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shellac doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Chuin is tightening it up a little... Shellac has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shellac reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shellac taps out! nice BJJ there by Chuin!
