PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Mojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bad Mojo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mojo lands with a good body shot.
Mojo misses with a low kick as Snake jumps back.
Snake takes a jab right on the kisser.
Snake swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Mojo to counter with a crisp jab.
Mojo slips a straight right by Snake.
Mojo cracks Snake with an open hand slap.
Snake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mojo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mojo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mojo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mojo duly obliges.
Mojo scores with a nice head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A left and a right from Mojo both land. Nice combination.
Mojo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mojo slips a jab and a cross from Snake.
Snake swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mojo counters with a stiff right hand.
Mojo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Mojo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Snake.
Mojo misses with a low kick.
Snake misses with a double jab.
Mojo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snake manages to avoid it.
Mojo thuds a left hand into Snake's body.
A punch lands to the side of Snake 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mojo scores with a jab to the body.
Mojo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mojo misses the shot to the body.
Snake takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Snake misses with a combination
and Mojo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Snake is breathing heavily.
Snake takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mojo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Snake gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mojo.
Mojo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Snake. That did some damage!

Mojo lands a left and a right that send Snake crashing to the mat, dazed. Mojo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Snake is rocked!
Mojo shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Snake takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Mojo sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Snake bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
