Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogeiro Picone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogeiro Picone is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Picone.

and Magamedov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Magamedov wants to control from the top but Picone keeps moving.
Magamedov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Magamedov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Magamedov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Picone swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Magamedov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Picone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magamedov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Picone pulls Magamedov in close to prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Igor Magamedov will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Magamedov.
Picone throws a hook but Magamedov blocks it.
Magamedov avoids the head kick by Picone.
Magamedov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Picone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Magamedov to the mat! Magamedov manages to get full guard.

Picone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Magamedov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Magamedov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Magamedov!

Magamedov advances to mount.
Picone reaches up to try and control the position but Magamedov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Picone rolls and tries to escape and now Magamedov has his back!

Magamedov has managed to slip his arm under Picone's chin. This could be all over... yep, Picone is tapping out! Submission win for Magamedov.
