Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Blockhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes into the arena with Those Dancin Days - Run Run blaring out of the sound system. Sonny Boy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a right hand that misses

and Blockhead counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Blockhead throws a head punch that misses.
Blockhead looking for a takedown.
Boy is trying to break the clinch but Blockhead is controlling him.
Blockhead stalls.

Boy breaks the clinch.
Boy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blockhead connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blockhead looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blockhead throws a jab but it's blocked by Boy.
Blockhead fails to land the takedown.
Boy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blockhead has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Boy lands a glancing blow to the side of Blockhead's head.

Both fighters circling a little - Boy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sonny Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blockhead shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boy as he avoids it easily.

and Blockhead counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Blockhead counters with a nice uppercut.

and Blockhead makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sonny Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Blockhead counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Boy will probably get the nod.

Boy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Blockhead is landing with some decent strikes but Boy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Blockhead postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Boy looks a forlorn figure.

Boy is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Blockhead! Boy is hurt baaadly! Blockhead is firing away with more strikes - Boy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
