The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naysmith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ohbladi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Naysmith throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Naysmith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Naysmith misses with a left hand
and Ohbladi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ohbladi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Naysmith has time to react.
Naysmith throws an off balance right hand
and Ohbladi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Naysmith misses with a hook
and Ohbladi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ohbladi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Naysmith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ohbladi lands with a nice combination. Naysmith backs away looking to recover.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jeez, Shelton Naysmith's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
