The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alexandrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alexandrov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Adams counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Anton Alexandrov has been cut.
Alexandrov has his takedown stuffed
and Adams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alexandrov won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Adams with the ground and pound but Alexandrov regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Adams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alexandrov's head.

Adams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Alexandrov is working to tighten is grip on Adams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Adams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Alexandrov is really squeezing tight and eventually Adams passes out! Alexandrov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
