Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goro Utini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton tries to clinch but Utini moves out of range.
Utini fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Burton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Utini lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Burton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Utini swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Burton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Utini counters with a nice uppercut.
Burton scores with a takedown into Utini's guard.
Burton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Utini is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Burton shoots in looking for a takedown. Utini tries to sprawl out of it but Burton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Utini manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Burton closes the distance but Utini moves to the side
and Utini counters with a thumping low kick.
Burton is breathing heavily.
Utini throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Goro Utini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Utini changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Utini feints a jab promting Burton to slip. Utini then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Burton slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Utini throws a right hand that Burton ducks under and follows up with a left that Burton also avoids with ease.
A solid leg kick lands there for Utini.
Utini lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Utini moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Utini paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Nice uppercut lands for Utini. That snapped Burton's head back.
Burton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Utini is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Utini dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Burton. That did some damage!

Utini lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Utini is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Burton can do to turn this around?
Utini's corner calls for a 1-2. Utini obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Burton's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
